Growth and biochemical responses of vetiver grass (Vetiveria zizanioides) to magnetized water and Pb

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the phytoremediation efficiency, growth and biochemical responses of vetiver grass (Vetiveria Zizanioides) in response irrigation with magnetized water [in 3 levels including water, semi-magnetized non-magnetized water] Pb from source Pb-Nitrate salt 4 0, 5, 10 20 mg/L). This study carried out as a factorial arrangement based on completely randomized design three replications central nursery Green Area Parks Organization Bandar Abbas Municipality, Abbas, Iran, during 2020–21. A magnetic generating device called ion stirrer an intensity 110 Tesla used this study. The results showed that significantly increased yield vetiver, uptake translocation factor shoots. Increase activities enzymatic antioxidants affected by observed which led production reactive oxygen species (ROS) activated plant defense system. In general, despite high accumulation tissues evident ROS, but still were not affected, indicating phyto-toxic tolerance vetivar against accumulation. It is concluded through stimulating can improve growth, yield, therewith increases efficiency Vetiver.
